Amen Clinics Launch Atlanta and New York City Locations

It’s my pleasure to announce the opening of two new Amen Clinics in Atlanta, Georgia and New York City, New York.  The Amen Clinics locations are:

  • 5901-C Peachtree Dunwoody NE, Suite 65, Atlanta, Georgia 30328
  • 16 E. 40th St. Floor #9, New York City, NY 10016

Amen Clinics, Inc. (ACI) specializes in providing accurate diagnosis and effective treatments for a wide variety of psychiatric conditions as well as protocols and resources to optimize brain health.  We have high success rates in complex patients suffering from anxiety, depression, ADHD, memory loss, Alzheimer’s, addiction, autism, toxic exposure, brain injuries, post-traumatic stress disorder, even obesity.  Amen Clinics also has new initiatives to help individuals and businesses optimize the brain health of employees to improve productivity, lower absenteeism, foster greater morale, and create a healthy work environment.

I selected Atlanta because it is a gateway to the southeast, and it’s emerging as a global health center. New York City is also a strategic location that allows us to serve patients throughout the eastern seaboard, complementing our existing clinic in the D.C. area.  For anyone struggling to find an accurate diagnosis and effective treatment, or for those who just want to optimize their brain function, the Amen Clinics offer demonstrated success.

The Amen Clinic in Atlanta is led by psychiatrists Robert Alpern and Jay Faber along with Steven Yungerberg, an Atlanta leader in clinical and industrial psychology and Employee Assistance Service programs.  Dr. Alpern, former president of the Georgia Psychiatric Association and Dr. Faber are accomplished psychiatrists specializing in children, adolescent, and adult psychiatry, as well as experts in forensic psychiatry.

The Amen Clinic in New York City is led by highly-acclaimed psychiatrist Manuel Trujillo and John Crepsac.  Crepsac, a licensed clinical social worker and certified addiction specialist, will lead the clinic’s expansion and operations.  Crepsac is also a Treating Clinician for the NFL Substances of Abuse Program, and has faculty appointments at the graduate social work schools of New York University and Fordham University.  Dr. Trujillo has a distinguished career as a clinician, researcher, clinical services innovator and academic advisor.  He currently serves as the Director of Program and Fellowship in Public Psychiatry and Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, Department of Psychiatry at the New York University School of Medicine.

Amen Clinics, Inc. has demonstrated brain SPECT imaging is a non-invasive technology that can help elucidate the underlying physiology of emotional, behavioral and cognitive disorders.  For example, in a study published by the Journal of Psychoactive Drugs titled “Specific Ways Brain SPECT Imaging Enhances Clinical Psychiatric Practice,” seven board certified psychiatrists reported that after reviewing brain SPECT images, 79% of their diagnosis and treatment would have differed from initial recommendations.
