| Anthony Andrew Bottone, MDPsychiatrist | |
| Dr. Anthony Bottone is board certified in both general child and adolescent psychiatry. In 1996 he obtained additional qualification in geriatric psychiatry. He graduated from the State University of New York medical school in Brooklyn in 1966 and trained in psychiatry at NYU-Bellevue Medical Center and in child-adolescent psychiatry at the University of PennsylvaniaPhiladelphia Child Guidance Center, where he worked with Salvador Minuchin, MD. Dr. Bottone has also done postgraduate education in the history of medicine at the University of California San Francisco with Professors John De CM Saunders, Chauncy Leake and Ilsa Veith. His clinical work has been in private practice and later locum psychiatry throughout the country and at the Wellington Hospital and Medical School in New Zealand. He helped his friend and former roommate, the late Dr. David Viscott, establish the first Viscott Institute in California. Recently, he was the chair of psychiatry at the Commonwealth Health Center in the Northern Mariana Islands, an American overseas territory in the South Pacific. While there he lectured extensively and provided training for health and school professionals as well as state officials. In 2001 he identified an unrecognized suicide epidemic and initiated a successful suicide prevention program, for which he was awarded the 2003 Governor’s Humanities Award for Teaching Human Values. In 2005 Dr. Bottone returned to Washington State, where he resides with his wife and son. His clinical practice is open to all ages, but focuses on children and adolescents with complex cross-cultural, diagnostic and treatment needs. Just prior to joining the Amen Clinic Northwest in 2006, he worked as a child-adolescent psychiatrist at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane. |

Rumen Slavkov, MD Psychiatrist |
| Dr. Slavkov was born in Bulgaria. He was raised in Czech Republic, where he graduated from the Medical Faculty of Charles University in 1982. After serving military service and physician placement in Bulgaria, he immigrated to Canada in 1988. Dr. Slavkov completed his psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, and subsequently at New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY, in 1998. He completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY, in 2000. Dr. Slavkov completed his second fellowship in Infant Psychiatry at Tulane University in New Orleans in 2008.Dr. Slavkov worked in private practice as a psychiatric consultant to a pain management clinic in Libertyville, IL, from 2001 to 2007. After completing his Infant Psychiatry fellowship, he worked as an Infant, Child & Adolescent and Adult psychiatrist at Sinnissippi Centers in Dixon, IL, and at Regional Mental Health Center in East Chicago, IN, until April, 2010. | |

Tim Earnest, MD Psychiatrist |
| Dr. Tim Earnest is a board certified adult psychiatrist, and was trained and served as chief resident in child and adolescent psychiatry. He was born and raised in Spokane, WA. He then attended Gonzaga University, and subsequently studied medicine in Houston, TX. In 1993 he graduated from Baylor College of Medicine, and returned to Washington State where he completed his adult psychiatric residency at UW, and pediatric psychiatric residency at Children’s in 1998. He has worked in private practice, hospitals, a community mental health center, and most recently in multispecialty pediatric clinics. Dr. Earnest’s work with children, adolescents, adults, and families focuses on accurate assessment of difficulties as well as strengths. He also intervenes with consideration of prescription medications, medical and nutrition interventions, and containment and removal of bodily toxins. He also considers interventions such as exercise, prayer, yoga, meditation, martial arts, and enhancement of social supports key not only to healing but also continued health. He specializes in: Impulse control disorders, ADHD and conduct disorder, pervasive developmental disorders, depressive disorders, eating disorders, and anxiety disorders. Dr. Earnest looks forward to helping patients and families remove the negative intensities in their lives, and celebrate the positive intensities that make them successful. |

| Cynthia Seager, M.A.Pyschotherapist & Personal Coach | |
| Cynthia has been with the NW Amen clinic since 2005 as staff therapist, coach, historian and class instructor. She also provides Life Skills/ADD Coaching nationwide for all the Amen clinics. Cynthia works with adults, teens and pre-teens as well as couples and families, helping them to resolve a range of issues including mood disorders, grief, anxiety disorders including OCD and PTSD, family of origin and interpersonal issues, ADD and other attention issues (including families or couples where one or more person has ADD), resolving stress, life balance and/or sleep difficulties, and meaningfully navigating life stage transitions, including the psychological impact of a major health issue or a medical diagnosis. Cynthia therapeutic approach is primarily cognitive-behavioral, Bowenian and solution-focused, but she draws on a range of therapeutic tools to meet her client’s needs. Her personal experience with ADD and as a cancer survivor also contributes to her down-to-earth, results oriented approach.Her passion is in empowering people to gain the skills, insight, health and confidence they need to feel and act their best, so they can effectively meet life’s challenges and lead more satisfying, meaningful and successful lives.Cynthia has been a WA state registered counselor since 1991, received her master’s degree in counseling from Bastyr University in 2006 and is a candidate for LMFT licensure. She has over 22 years’ experience in both Life Skills and ADD coaching, massage & somatic education, counseling, meditation and hypnotherapy, naturopathic health, Voice Dialogue, and as a class facilitator. Available for coaching by phone nationwide; and for in-person sessions and group classes locally. |

| Lisa Dean, MFT | |
| Lisa is a therapist with the Amen Clinic in the beautiful northwest. She obtained a M.A. in Psychology from Western Washington University in 2000. After completing her degree, Lisa worked for seven years with behaviorally challenged children in a group home setting and in private foster care. This work led her to pursue and finish her M.S. degree from Seattle Pacific University in Marriage and Family Therapy. She enjoys helping youth and families find more positive ways to interact, as well as helping the individual children and young adults with issues such as coping skills, life skills, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, attachment issues, life transitions, and PTSD. |

| Holly has been with the Amen Clinics since 2009. She has been a Patient Care Coordinator and National Trainer in our Newport Beach office. She is now in the Tacoma, WA clinic as the Clinic Manager. She graduated from California Lutheran University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music in 2004 and continued on to earn a Master of Education degree as well.
