Dr. Michael Rabinoff is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and by the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. He received his osteopathic medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He did his residency and a National Institute of Mental Health funded fellowship in the department of psychiatry at UCLA, where he holds a research scientist position. In addition, he has a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and trained in naturopathic medicine, acupuncture, and traditional Chinese medicine. Prior to joining Amen Clinics, he worked as a psychiatrist at Kaiser Permanente and has worked as an adult psychiatrist for 20 years.
Dr. Rabinoff uses a holistic and integrative approach to address the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual factors influencing mental and physical well-being. He works with clients to select a holistic and personalized approach to facilitate wellness, that can include psychotherapy, medication, genetic and other lab testing to personalize treatment selection, and complementary and alternative therapies, including the use of nutrition and nutraceuticals, exercise, other lifestyle interventions, guided visualization, meditation, breathing techniques and other methods, to optimize brain function and mental health.
He enjoys working with a variety of clients and specializes in anxiety and mood disorders, ADD/ADHD, obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders, PTSD, and weight loss and nutrition issues.
