Katie Bentson is the Clinic Outreach Manager for Amen Clinics, Orange County. A Certified Brain Health Coach, who finds joy in learning about Mental Health and bringing communities together. With 10 years of experience in Behavioral Health, she understands the complexities and struggles of getting the right care and wants to bridge that gap.Â
Katie graduated from Oregon State University with a BS in Human Development & Family Sciences. After having the opportunity as a college athlete to play Volleyball with incarcerated women, she knew her passion was to help those in need and learn everyone’s story. Understanding how trauma affects us and what we can do for prevention is Katie’s life mission. She started in Amen Clinics National Care Center as a supervisor, where she gained knowledge on our approach.Â
In her role, Katie is looking forward to working with Therapists, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Athletic Trainers, Family Practice Practitioners, and all providers of mental and physical health. We can all work together to ensure patients get the best possible care!Â
In her free time, Katie loves the outdoors! Originally from Oregon, she is always looking for a nice park to walk around, a new body of water to paddle board, and of course, cooking her favorite meals as Gluten-free versions! Â
