Reba Peoples, MD, IFMCP

Dr. Reba Peoples is a functional psychiatrist who delights in appreciating those unique traits and qualities that make each of us who we are. This appreciation allows her to create customized wellness solutions for individuals who struggle with anxiety, complex trauma, mood disorders and other mental health concerns. The incorporation of functional medicine has been a critical tool that has truly allowed her patients to thrive. This whole-person approach recognizes the impact of lifestyle factors such as nutrition, stress management and relationships on overall emotional health. It also recognizes how each individual’s unique biochemistry and genetics influence emotional health. Rather than simply treating symptoms, a functional medicine approach aims to address the root cause of why people may struggle with emotional health concerns. Dr. Peoples’ ultimate mission is to provide her patients the tools needed to become stewards of their own health and architects of their own destiny. Dr. Peoples is a graduate of the Medical College of Ohio and obtained her psychiatric residency training via the Hennepin-Regions psychiatry training program in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is board certified in psychiatry via the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is board certified in Functional Medicine via the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFMCP).
