Ross brings over 24 years and a vast array of experience in the business side of the neurosciences to the Amen Clinics. He has spent the last 15 years of that time witnessing and contributing to the growth of functional and integrative psychiatry in the Pacific Northwest. He has worked for several pharmaceutical companies, as well as a researcher who sought to improve our understanding of the integration of the nervous, endocrine, and immune systems. Most recently, Ross has launched several genetic testing and software platforms to neuropsychiatric specialists in the region. With a creative side however, Ross has a strong passion for developing relationships, clinical science and developing community around novel technologies within the field of psychiatry. He has proposed and collaborated on clinical trials, most recently with an area Veterans Administration hospital. In 2012, he was fortunate to see his slides on the screen at an American Psychiatric Association Annual Meeting and hopes to assist Amen Clinics with their pioneering work of bringing functional neuroimaging and integrative treatments to all who can benefit. As a member of the Neuroscience Education Institute, Ross is well-versed in psychopharmacology, genetics, pathways, and nutrition, but there is always more to learn.
He is passionate about serving the practices and patients they see, so he returned to Amen Clinic, since it was several of Dr. Amen’s doctors in 2009 who sparked his interest and encouraged him to build a career around taking the guesswork out of psychiatry and he has not looked back.
Ross enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children, as well as playing music and spending time on the water exploring the South Puget Sound.
