Amen Clinics is Opening in Los Angeles
Encino, CA – Amen Clinics delivers a personalized, highly effective plan to those who want to optimize brain health or struggle with mental and brain health issues. We’re world-renowned for using brain SPECT (single photon emission computed tomography) imaging to more accurately diagnose and treat our patients.
We’re excited to announce that our new location serving the residents of Los Angeles will open May 2018.
With the world’s largest database of functional brain scans related to behavior, we have one of the best published outcomes for patients with complex mental health issues.
Our imaging technology helps us provide a more complete diagnosis & targeted treatment for conditions like ADD/ADHD, Addictions, Anxiety & Depression, Memory Loss, PTSD, TBI, Toxic Mold Syndrome, Lyme Disease and more.
“In our 30 years, by looking at the brain, we’ve become leaders in helping medical providers and our patients find a better way to improve outcomes. We had to open up this new location to keep pace with the needs of our patient growth,” says Daniel G. Amen, MD.
“We’ll continue to build world-renowned programs where the most advanced brain imaging and innovative solutions for brain and mental health can change your life and the lives of those you love.”
The new clinic features some of the most state-of-the-art technology, including one of the most advanced SPECT machines on the market.
It’s a three-headed gamma camera specially designed for Amen Clinics. It will be faster, quieter, and produce the highest resolution images.
The L.A. clinic will also offer Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). HBOT involves breathing oxygen in a pressurized chamber. The increased oxygen facilitates the brain and body healing process.
“We’re thrilled to be part of the Los Angeles community,” says Dr. Faber.
“I’m also sure that they (Los Angeles residents) are elated that they don’t have to drive in traffic to our Orange County location anymore.”
John A. “Jay” Faber, MD will be the lead psychiatrist in Amen Clinics Los Angeles. He’s a board-certified physician in Metabolic Medicine from the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. He’s also a clinical and forensic psychiatrist with more than two decades of experience in Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry and Pharmacological Management.
