Dr. Kandace Licciardi is a double board-certified psychiatrist in Adult and Forensic Psychiatry who serves as Medical Director at Amen Clinics in Dallas. She is dedicated to helping individuals achieve meaningful, lasting improvements in both mental and overall health so they can more fully engage in their lives and goals.
Dr. Licciardi takes a comprehensive, whole-person approach to care. In addition to evidence-based psychiatric treatment, she integrates lifestyle interventions, social health, and spiritual well-being into personalized care plans. She works closely with patients to identify and address contributing factors to symptoms—including co-existing medical conditions, substance use, and environmental toxins—recognizing that mental health is deeply connected to physical and environmental health.
She has extensive experience treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and psychotic spectrum disorders. Dr. Licciardi has particular expertise in working with individuals experiencing Borderline Personality Disorder and those in the early stages of psychosis, where timely, thoughtful intervention can significantly improve long-term outcomes.
Dr. Licciardi completed her psychiatry residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, and her forensic psychiatry fellowship at New York University in Manhattan. After several years in clinical practice in New York, she joined Amen Clinics in 2021.
