Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Lauren is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about integrative and functional approaches to mental wellness. Through her 13 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, she witnessed firsthand the profound impact that nutrition and lifestyle habits have on both physical and mental health. This insight inspired her to pursue additional training in functional nutrition and become a board-certified holistic nurse.

After obtaining her Masters of Science in Nursing as a PMHMP she also completed a functional psychiatry fellowship with Psychiatry Redefined. She is especially interested in nutritional psychiatry and ketogenic therapy—the use of nutritional ketosis as a therapeutic tool for mental health conditions. Her clinical background includes both conventional psychiatric medication management, psychotherapy and behavioral counseling.

Lauren recognizes the deep interconnectedness of mind & body and incorporates mindfulness, somatic awareness, and nervous system regulation into her work with clients. She embraces the uniqueness of human experiences and finds joy in getting to know each person and their individual story.

Outside of clinical practice, Lauren loves practicing & teaching yoga, traveling, and spending time with family.
