Linda “Lin” Long, NP is a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping individuals improve their brain health and overall quality of life. With over 18 years of clinical experience, Lin brings a thoughtful, integrative perspective to psychiatric care, grounded in brain health, neuroscience, and whole-person healing.
Lin has expertise in neuroscience and brain health optimization, with a clinical focus on complex posttraumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury, anxiety disorders, and depressive disorders. She has extensive experience in integrative general psychiatry and in working with Veterans, active-duty military members, and their families. Lin understands the unique neurological, emotional, and environmental factors that influence brain health and overall wellness and is known for creating a calm, supportive space where patients feel heard and understood.
Lin earned her Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Literature and Languages from the University of Massachusetts, followed by a Master of Science degree from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions, where she completed her Nurse Practitioner training in inpatient and community settings. She later completed her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification at Purdue University. Her clinical approach emphasizes understanding brain health and addressing the connection between brain function, physical health, lifestyle, and emotional well-being.
A Boston native, Lin has maintained a strong philanthropic presence in her community. Outside of clinical work, she enjoys fitness, spending time outdoors, and being with her family. Lin is honored to be part of the Amen Clinics team and is passionate about empowering individuals and families to build healthier, more fulfilling lives.
