Jasmine Hernandez is the Clinical Outreach Manager for Amen Clinics Los Angeles, CA, serving the greater Los Angeles area and beyond.
Jasmine brings nearly a decade of experience across residential treatment, outpatient programs, and community-based services, including roles in admissions, case management, outreach, and crisis intervention. Her work has included supporting individuals with complex mental health needs, including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and connecting them to sustainable systems of care. She is especially passionate about increasing access to care for underserved and historically excluded populations.
She earned her Bachelorโs degree in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine. While attending El Camino College, Jasmine founded and served as president of her campus chapter of Active Minds, a national mental health advocacy organization. She went on to join the board at UCI’s chapter and served as a research liaison for the national organization as well. She was also co-president and facilitator of a student-led peer support group, promoting open dialogue and emotional support among students.
She currently volunteers as Director of Resources for Chicano Power Rehab, a grassroots initiative supporting Latinx individuals in recovery through culturally rooted community building.
Outside of her professional work, Jasmine enjoys trying new coffee shops or experimenting with creative ways to brew at home, going to concerts, and watching movies with her partner and their cat. Sheโs always happy to connect, collaborate, or offer guidance around mental health referrals and community support.
